4. Build in triggers with pre-determined responses

Catalog the indications and warnings associated with the identified threats/risks and establish triggers to take immediate action.

5. Establish communication protocols

List key stakeholders that will need to be notified in the event of business interruption. Identify the order and medium by which they are notified and kept informed.

6. Test, test again, and make improvements

Develop training sessions and exercise events to put the plan to the test. Identify vulnerabilities and then refine the plan.
