Values bind teams together

Getting employees on the same page is a key leadership task and is the first step to creating a corporate culture of inclusiveness, collaboration and respect. It must come from top brass. It can only be created through leadership actions, and your younger workforces especially are watching.

With the perils of cancel culture, ghosting, gaslighting, etc., prevalent in our American society today, your workforce is under a constant watch of managing behaviors that might be worrisome and cause friction.

Trust is the foundation of relationships. And the most successful businesses are built on relationships. The key to developing deep relationships is integrity and doing what you say you are going to do.

A culture of trust isn’t built immediately, it takes effort to grow, and it takes vigilance to maintain it. It is precarious, because it can come crashing down instantly with one act or one event. Just look at what is happening in the news today. My Dad used to tell me, “1 ‘Oh s***!’ erases ‘100 Atta boys!’”
